2009 Tea Party

Thanks to everyone who attended and/or donated to the 2009 "All for Nana" Charity Tea Party. This year was another huge success with $1816 raised for cancer research and $1560 raised in donations for food and door prizes. We appreciate all of you who shared part of your Saturday with us in celebration of our Nana, Carol McLaughlin. It was nice to visit with everyone and, especially, to reminisce and share stories about her life. We truly hope to see everyone again next year!

2009 Charity Tea Party Details

Arrangements have been set for the 2009 "All for Nana" Charity Tea Party. It will be held on Saturday, April 18th, 2009 at Valley Creek Baptist Church in Hueytown from 11:30-1:30. Our guest speaker will be Ms. Maxine Scott, a family friend and cancer survivor who works with the American Cancer Society. Lunch, consisting of lasagna, salad, bread, and dessert, will be served. A kid's menu of chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese will also be available. Musical entertainment will be included, as well as even better door prizes than last year! As with last year, tickets will be available at the door for a minimum donation of $25 per person. Checks should be made payable to "The American Cancer Society". Last year's charity tea party raised $1535 for cancer research and we are hoping to raise even more this year. We are looking forward to spending this special day with all of you in honor of our precious Nana.
